Connect: Spiritual Community

Join a small group or volunteer with the youth or children’s ministries to further develop your faith and the faith of those around you.

Prayer Group The prayer group meets to share personal prayer needs and to pray for requests that are shared during the church service on Sundays. In addition, prayers are relayed over a group text during the week.

Monday Night Small Group  This small group is designed to nurture your faith and well-being. It will be a low-key time to connect meaningfully with others and experience and rest in God's grace. We cycle through different studies and topics that require little to no prep, your presence is all that is required! Contact Andi Semler for more information.

Children’s Ministry   FUMC has a variety of ways for kids to connect. On Sunday mornings during the 10 am service, there are special activities just for there. There are also monthly workshops focused on teaching about faith and serving our neighbors. FUMC also has a Junior Youth Fellowship for students in grades 3-5.

Youth Ministry  Youth group is for all students grades 6-12. We meet weekly to grow in faith, spend time in fellowship, and have fun! Students will have the opportunity to grow in their personal relationship with Christ, be surrounded by a community that supports them, and engage in mission projects/trips. All students are welcome to join us. Contact Andi Semler for more information.

Martha’s Circle We are a group of women who meet monthly for fellowship. Pre-COVID we shared conversation and a short devotion (sometimes our favorite poem) over acup of coffee and a sweet dessert. Last year we supported each other with a virtual cup of coffee over ZOOM. We send seasonal cards to our homebound seniors and deliver treats to them in the Fall. Our fundraisers have raised money for the Giving Tree and the college scholarship fund!
