We are expecting you and warmly welcome new people at FUMC. On Sunday mornings, you will be met by Greetersjust inside the doors, who will invite you to sign in at the Welcome Kiosk. They will be able to tell you about our childcare, give you an orientation guide to the building, and will offer to take you where you would like to go! We are pleased that FUMC is a completely accessible building. We offer handicapped parking right near the entryway, an elevator that accesses all 4 floors in the building, FM receivers for those who worship and may have trouble hearing, and large print bulletins for easy reading. Our restrooms are also accessible to all. In the sanctuary there is a specially designated area available for anyone who is wheel-chair bound. On of our more interesting global educational efforts in the congregation over the past few years has come through a relationship to Mary Parakuo, a Massai from Kenya, Africa. She has taught us much about deepening our faith our God, and the importance of education for women in the southern hemisphere, particularly on the African continent. The congregation maintains on ongoing relationship with Mary, who is now studying in the US. Her father, the tribal elder for her village, is seen here on the right, along with her mother on the left, and a community leader, second from the left. Explore the site to learn more about us.
