Global Outreach

One of our more interesting global educational efforts in the congregation over the past few years has come through a relationship to Mary Parakuo,  a Massai from Kenya, Africa.  She has taught us much about deepening our faith in our God,  and the importance of education for women in the southern hemisphere,  particularly on the African continent.  The congregation maintains an ongoing relationship with Mary,  who is now studying in the US.   Her father,  the tribal elder for her village,  is seen here on the right,  along with her mother on the left, and a community leader, second from the left.

More recently, we have been engaged in raising awareness and funds about clean water issues in the world.
