Non-perishable food donations are needed for the Westfield Food Pantry. Place your items in the bin in the Lobby.

Denim needed for BLUE JEANS GO GREEN Denim Recycling. Please bring your used denim to donate—pants, jackets, purses, anything denim! Your used denim will be recycled into insulation for Habitat for Humanity. (You do not have to remove zippers, buttons, snaps, rhinestones, etc... Just bring items as is.) This recycling project is in conjunction with Imagine, Amy Yin Interiors and FUMC. Please use the drop-off box in the lobby.

Calling ALL Graduates! We would like to display a photo of you in our display cabinet beginning June 14 to recognize you for your hard work and accomplishments. Please bring in a framed photo of you (in your cap and gown if you have it) along with information about where you are graduating from, your degree, and what your plans are now. Come celebrate the ministry of the Rev. Bobbie Rambach on Saturday, June 6th at 4:00 PM as she retires from ministry in the New Jersey Annual Conference. The Bound Brook United Methodist Church (150 West Union Avenue in Bound Brook) will host a loving tribute to Pastor Bobbie in Asbury Hall, followed by a light supper. For more information, contact the Rev. Onay Lopez at (732) 900-7684. As a farewell and a gesture of our appreciation, we'll have opportunity to give Pastor Bobbie a financial gift as part of our celebration. Checks may be made payable to Bound Brook UMC with a memo noting "Pastor Bobbie".

Our annual Strawberry Festival will take place on Sunday, June 14th following the 10:00 AM service and ALL are invited to come! We will enjoy sandwiches and a strawberry dessert. A free will offering will be taken at the lunch to benefit the FUMC Scholarship Fund. The Strawberry Festival is an annual event that celebrates our teachers, leaders and graduates. So save the date and we’ll all get together to celebrate!

Summer help needed at the Food Pantry! Due to summer vacation schedules, we need help taking orders and bagging groceries at the Westfield Food Pantry (located at Holy Trinity Church) on Tuesdays during June, July and August. If you can help please contact Joann Huber at huberkj@aol.com No previous experience necessary; training is available!

FUMC Perennial Plants available. Beautify your yard with perennial plants that have been thinned from the flower beds at FUMC. Since the pots and plants are of different sizes, the donation amount is up to you. The perennials are available outside the main lobby.

Join us for RISE! We are looking for two more students to join us for RISE this year (July 5 –11)! If you are interested, please contact Gilim Jung as soon as possible at youth@fumcwestfield.org

Midday Recital Series this Spring. Our next concerts are Wednesday, June 10 & 24 at 12 noon. This series is designed to be a musical lunch break for church goers and non-church goers alike, so please bring lunch and a friend! Proceeds from the free-will offering will go to the organ restoration fund.

Family Caregivers Group. A support group for persons who provide ongoing care for an ill, elderly or disabled family member continues to meet at FUMC about twice each month from 3:00 to 4:30 on Sunday afternoons. Upcoming dates are June 14 & 28. Mutual support, encouragement, and caring as well as practical information are offered to and by those present.  The group is professionally led. Krafty Ladies/Social Group, Wednesdays beginning June 24 through August. Please join us in the Fellowship Room on Wednesdays beginning June 24 through August from 1-3 PM. Bring your knitting, sewing and crafts or just join us for social time! We also have some fun projects that you can work on. Hope to see you whenever you can make it!

Vacation Bible School is coming this July 20-24, 2015 and you won’t want to miss the adventure as we explore Everest – Conquering Challenges with God’s Mighty Power.We are currently in the process of signing up volunteers and holding registration for the church and the community.
