Non-perishable food donations are needed for the Westfield Food Pantry. Place your items in the bin in the Lobby.

Summer help needed at the Food Pantry! Due to summer vacation schedules, we need help taking orders and bagging groceries at the Westfield Food Pantry (located at Holy Trinity Church) on Tuesdays during June, July and August. If you can help please contact Joann Huber at huberkj@aol.com No previous experience necessary; training is available!

Support for the Emanuel AME Church in Charleston. Today during worship we are blessing 10 shawls from our Prayer Shawl Ministry to be sent to the Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, to help in providing them comfort during their horrific time of grief. We will be mailing them tomorrow to Charleston. If you would like to write a note of support to the Charleston congregation or a note of what your prayer shawl has meant to you, send them via email to Joann Huber (huberkj@aol.com) or David Mertz (mertzcntrl@aol.com) or drop off your cards/notes at the church office by NOON on Monday (June 29). Thank you!

Summer Service Team Bake Sale TODAY! The FUMC Summer Service Team will hold a bake sale TODAY from 11 AM – 2 PM (in the parking lot of FUMC). All proceeds will go to fund charities such as Socks of Love, A Future with Hope, Westfield Food Pantry, Imagine No Malaria, Project Linus and the Plainfield Salvation Army.

Global Climate Chorus. On, June 28th, at 12 noon, people around the world will be ringing out a chorus of support for continued conversations about climate change and environmental concerns and Pope Francis’ Encyclical. Join us on the front lawn of the church at noon as our tower bell rings and Jonathan plays our pipe organ as part of the Global Climate Chorus. Bring your voices along with any instruments you’d like. We are One Earth, One Human Family.

Then Sings My Soul Moment. As a means of deepening our connection to God and one another during the church season of Ordinary Time, there will be a "Then Sings My Soul" moment on the second and fourth Sundays of each month until the beginning of Advent. People are invited to consider sharing how a specific hymn or piece of music has been meaningful, comforting or challenging in their spiritual growth.If you are interested in sharing in one of these moments contact Su Iliff (siliff31@gmail.com) or Connie Palmer (cqpalmer@yahoo.com).

Krafty Ladies/Social Group, Wednesdays through August. Please join us in the Fellowship Room on Wednesdays through August from 1-3 PM. Bring your knitting, sewing and crafts or just join us for social time! We also have some fun projects that you can work on. Hope to see you whenever you can make it!

Vacation Bible School is coming this July 20-24, 2015 and you won’t want to miss the adventure as we explore Everest – Conquering Challenges with God’s Mighty Power.We are currently in the process of signing up volunteers and holding registration for the church and the community. Youth Coordinator Fund. Did you make a pledge to FUMC’s Youth Coordinator Campaign? Is your pledge up to date? If you made a pledge to the campaign, a minimum of one-third of your total pledge is now due and payable. Please make your check payable to FUMC, indicating "Youth Coordinator" in the memo section of the check. The Summer Choir will sing on the first and third Sundays of the month and rehearse in the Sanctuary from 9:15—9:45 a.m. before the 10 a.m. worship service. We invite all ages to join, no prior experience is necessary!
