Non-perishable food donations are needed for the Westfield Food Pantry. Place your items in the bin in the Lobby.

New Offering envelopes. Please pick up your offering envelopes for 2015 in the hallway outside the church office.

Volunteers are needed to help supervise a variety of children and youth programs here at FUMC. Please consider becoming Safe Sanctuary certified by completing a background check and simple training. can be done from your home computer. Marcee Rogers for more details (mmrogers93@gmail.com)

The Madrigal Singers will present Wassail! TODAY at 4 PM in our Sanctuary. This is their annual, anxiety-free post-Christmas Christmas Concert! The general admission is $15, with $10 for students and seniors.

Organ Recital—January 9, 2015. There will be a full recital given by local organist, Shea Velloso, on Friday, January 9th at 7:30 pm. This concert will include works by Bossi, Karg-Elert, Whitlock, and others. So mark your calendars and watch the bulletin for more information!

Our next time to host Free Meals will be Monday, January 12, 2015. If you are interested, talk to Dick or Margaret Campbell.

Wesley Hall Registration. Wesley Hall open registration for the 2015-16 school year takes place on January 20. Classes are available for children ages 2 1/2 thru full day Kindergarten. Members of First United Methodist Church are eligible to register at any time and receive 10% off of tuition. Call the school office 908-233-9570 to schedule an appointment for a tour of the school. The Noontimers will meet on Friday, January 16 in the Fellowship Room. Our guest will be Melissa Romelli, Director of Wesley Hall School for Early Childhood. Her program will be "The Importance of Play." We ask that you bring a sandwich and we provide coffee and tea and ice water. The meetings run from 12 PM till 2 PM. Everyone is welcome to attend!

The Oratorio Singers present an evening of Irish and Celtic-American music on Friday, January 23 at 7:30 PM in the Sanctuary. A suggested donation of $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and $10 for children (16 and under) will be received at the door.

Join us for a Square Dance on Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 6:30-8:30 PM in the Social Hall. NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED! Bring the entire family out for an evening of fun & fellowship! No admission charge, but a free will offering will be accepted at the door. We will have a live caller—FUMC’s own Dale Flowers! Children ages 4 and up are welcome. Each child age 4-8 should bring a grown-up to dance with.

Volunteer to be part of the 5th Sunday worship planning team for our next date - Palm Sunday. coordinating meeting is set for January 25th @ 11:30 am in room 218. Marcee or Gilim for more information.

FUMC members are invited to attend Wesley Hall’s presentation of the Hambone Kelly Nostalgia Dixieland Band on January 30 at 6:30 PM in the Sanctuary. Appropriate for families with young children. Tickets are $4 per person. Registration forms are available in the church office.
