Mark your calendars! State of the Church Sunday has been rescheduled for February 7, 2016 with lunch following worship in the Social Hall.

Non-perishable food donations are needed for the Westfield Food Pantry. Place your items in the bin in the Lobby.

Altar Flowers. The 2016 Flower Chart is posted on the wall outside the church office. You are invited to sponsor flower arrangements ($40 per week) for our worship services each Sunday morning. Please sign up, then take an envelope for your payment and to indicate what reading you’d like to appear in the bulletin. Thank you for providing these beautiful tributes for our services. You may take the flowers home, or leave them to be delivered to our homebound members. Upcoming dates open for flowers: February 14, March 20.

Superbowl Sub Sale. We May Not Know Who's Playing, But We're Serving the Food! Our RISE team will again be doing the Superbowl Sub Sale on Sunday, February 7th.We will have order sheets posted in the Fellowship Room and around the church the next two Sundays and the subs will be available for pickup on Sunday morning the 7th after church, made fresh that very morning.As in the past we will have Roast Beef, Turkey and Italian subs for $10 each with proceeds supporting our summer mission project, RISE. So root for your favorite team with sub in hand!

Bus Trip to Peddlers Village planned for October 22, 2016. Sign up by March 15th. Please join us on October 22, 2016 (7:00 am departure) for a Lancaster bus trip to Peddlers Village. Things to do there: Amish shopping,, horse and buggy rides, etc... Bus ride and tip is $45.00. Other expenses are up to the individual. Please see Vanessa Zimmerman (vanessaz@verizon.net) for more information. We need 20 people to sign March 15th.

Adult Faith Development

William Sloane Coffin: Pastoral Prophet and Prophetic Pastor.  Running through February 7th, Rev. Mertz is offering a class  on William Sloane Coffin beginning at 9:00 AM in the Fellowship Room.  This past May Rev. Mertz finished his Doctor of Ministry degree at Luther seminary in St. Paul, and wrote his thesis on William Sloane Coffin.  During this four-week Adult Sunday school class he will share some of what he learned about this rather extraordinary man.
