Music at Midday. Our next concert is Wednesday, December 16! This series was designed to be a musical lunch break for church goers and non-church goers alike, so please bring lunch and a friend! Proceeds from the free-will offering will go to the organ restoration fund. Please join us at 12:00 NOON in the Sanctuary.

Christmas with our soldiers—cards due today!: Let’s all make a difference by writing a message on a Christmas card for our soldiers in the Middle East. A table will be setup in the narthex with plenty of cards, yours for the taking. You may return your signed cards to the narthex in the box that says "Ready for Shipping." Please address envelope to "Any Soldier." Boxes filled with cards will be shipped after December 13th.

Heifer Project International Fair—December 13 & 20. Can't think of ideas for Christmas presents? Everybody have everything they need? If that's the case, think about buying an animal from Heifer Project International.Share the gift of hope for hungry families across the globe.Bonny Chopey will be there to help you gift animals on December 13th and 20th before and after worship in the waiting area outside the church office.

Our next time to host Free Meals will be Monday, December 14, 2015. If you are interested, talk to Dick or Margaret Campbell.

Everyone is invited to Wesley Hall’s Annual Christmas Concert on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. We hope you can join us!

Potluck and Seasonal Jazz Concert, December 16. Please join us on December 16th for an Advent potluck dinner beginning at 6:30 PM in the Fellowship Room. Following dinner there will be special music of the season with a jazz flavor courtesy of our own Jonathan Evers! If your last name begins with: A-G bring a main dish; H-O bring a salad; P-Z bring a dessert or bread.

The Noontimers will meet on Friday, December 18 at 12 PM in the Fellowship Room. We will be celebrating Christmas with a "White Elephant Gift" exchange. We ask that you bring a sandwich and we provide coffee and tea and ice water.

Santa Claus Breakfast—December 19. Join us for our annual Santa Claus breakfast on Saturday, December 19th from 10 a.m. until 12 noon in the Fellowship Room. There will be a light breakfast, crafts, music, stories and a visit with a very special guest fit for the season!! The cost is $7.00 per person. Annual Cookie Walk—December 20. Our Annual Cookie Walk will take place on Sunday, December 20th in the Fellowship Room. This is a great way to get a variety of cookies for the holiday! If you would like to donate cookies, speak to Sue Gandy or Mary-Lou Jackson. Proceeds will be split to benefit the free meals program at Covenant UMC and our apportionments.

Non-perishable food donations are needed for the Westfield Food Pantry. Place your items in the bin in the Lobby.

Advent Study - Awaiting the Already: An Advent Journey Through the Gospels

Our Advent Study continues to meet on Sunday mornings from 9:00 – 9:50 a.m. in Room 105. Awaiting the Already will take us on a tour through the Gospel narratives, helping us in understanding which parts of the Christmas story come from which Gospel. The study will enable us to recognize and experience the birth of Christ through the words of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Questions? Contact Su Iliff
