Come to the Easter Bunny Breakfast on Saturday, March 30 from 10 AM—12 Noon in the Fellowship Room. There will be a light breakfast, egg hunt, activities, crafts and a visit from the Easter Bunny. (Don’t forget your camera!) Cost is $6 per person (ages 2+ yrs). Sign up outside the Church Office.

Church Family Lenten Potluck Suppers each Wednesday in Lent! Our gatherings continue on Wednesday evenings: March 6, 13 and 20 and will run from 6:30 – 8:00 PM. Dinner will begin at 6:30 PM in the Fellowship Room. You are invited to bring soup, salad, or bread/dessert as noted in the table below. Paper goods will be provided. Our post dinner programs will feature members of our FUMC family sharing how they have recognized, and utilized their God-given gifts to make a difference in the lives of others as they serve God. Our next speaker will be Peter Pantalena.

Vacation Bible School is on! July 15 to 18 (9:30-11:30) with a closing program and community fun fair on Sunday 7/21. Registration will soon begin, but before that can happen, we need to line up our staff. Volunteers are needed for various tasks before, during and after the VBS week. Please think about your gifts and talents; if you have a calling to work with Vacation Bible School, we have a job you can do! Contact Marcee Rogers:

Our next time to host Free Meals will be March 11, 2013. We prepare meals the second Monday of each month September thru June. If you are interested, talk to Dick or Margaret Campbell.

The next meeting of the Noontimers is March 15, 2013. Our guest speaker will be FUMC member, Scott Keller, who is an FBI Agent specializing in Russian Affairs. Bring a sandwich; coffee and tea and ice water provided. The meetings run from 12 PM till 2 PM in the Fellowship Room.

Noontimer Baby pictures needed! Our May Noontimer program is "Baby Face" with Rosemarie Gilman. We will try to guess who is who from their baby pictures. Prizes will be given to the winner. Photos (before the age of one) of each Noontimer are to be lent to Rosemarie Gilman on or before April 19th! They will be returned.

The Oratorio Singers, conducted by Trent Johnson, invite you to our 33rd annual concert on Sunday, March 17 at 3 PM as we present music featuring chorus, brass ensembles, percussion and organ. Composers will include Giovanni Gabrieli, Randall Thompson, Ralph Vaughan Williams and Mack Wilberg. Two major works on the program will be Thompson’s A Feast of Praise and 2 works by by Mack Wilberg. Tickets are $20 general admission, $15 students and seniors.

The next Book Club meeting is Sunday, March 17 at 7 pm in the Fellowship Room. We will discuss Thinking in Pictures My Life with Autism by Temple Grandin. All are invited to read the book and join us!

Brain Injury Basics. The Brain Injury Alliance of NJ will present Brain Injury Basics a free educational session, at FUMC on Tuesday, March 19 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM in the Fellowship Room. Contact Su Iliff with questions. We would like to feature a collection of crosses in the display cabinet for the Easter season. If you would be willing to lend a cross for the display, please contact Sarah Ashworth at and bring your cross to church by Sunday, March 17.

Sign up for Altar flowers outside the church office! You are invited to sponsor flower arrangements for our worship services each Sunday at a cost of $40 per week. Please sign up, then take an envelope for your payment and to indicate the reading that will appear in the bulletin.

The Family Caregiver's Group continues to meet twice monthly at FUMC on Sunday afternoons from 3:00 to 4:30. We gather to share experiences, exchange information and to care for and encourage each other. Our next meeting date is March 24. Facilitators are Sue Bottorff and Su Iliff.

Adult Continuing Education

A Lenten study focused on Serving from the Heart – Finding Your Gifts and Talents for Service continues on Sunday mornings at 9:00 – 9:50 AM (in the Fellowship Room) and again from 11:30 AM—12:30 PM (in room 105) and runs through March 24. This study helps participants discover their own spiritual gifts and talents and find ways to channel these gifts into an enhanced capacity to serve God and neighbor. March is Women's History Month. Meet Nancy Sleeth, an environmental advocate. Along with her husband, she co founded Blessed Earth, an organization that inspires and equips people of faith to become better stewards of the earth.
