Basics of Biblical Scholarship - Have you ever been frustrated when Bible studies seem "too heady" and disconnected from your life of faith? If you would like to learn more from a Bible scholar about what Bible scholars have come to understand, and learn to read the Bible in its own context (and ours!), join Rev. Amy Jones on three Sundays in September (September 8, 15, 22) to discuss some of the questions and concerns scholarly interpreters of the Bible raise, how these may differ from issues of spirituality, and how the two intersect. Sessions will be held from 9:00 – 9:50 AM in room 105.
