Wesley Hall School for Early Childhood is running a new and exciting Spring Fundraiser from "Mixed Bag Designs." The catalog includes reusable bags, totes and so much more. Please see the catalog and order forms in the CHURCH OFFICE and help support SPECIAL Programs for our children. There are samples on display in the school office. Sale ends FRIDAY, March 7th. Make checks payable to Wesley Hall.

Lenten Study Groups. This Lent several Lenten Study Groups will be formed based on the study of The Many Faces of Jesus. These intergenerational groups will take the place of Family Wednesday Night Meals held in the past during Lent. Additional information about these groups will be available by calling Kevin or Teresa Dresely 908-232-5732.

Blood Drive. Come and donate blood on Monday, March 3 from 2—9:00 p.m. at the NJ Blood Center, 2279 South Avenue in Scotch Plains. Sign-up in the narthex for blood donations or call Randy or Cindy Howell to schedule an appointment at 908-889-6310. Walk-ins are also welcome on the 3rd.

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner (March 4) at the Diner - join in fellowship for a pancake dinner at Vickie's Diner on March 4th. will meet in the church parking lot to walk over at 6:30pm. your name to the sign up by the church office or RSVP to Teresa Dresely or Marcee Rogers by March 2

Ash Wednesday Soup Supper. Join others in our FUMC family for a simple soup supper on Ash Wednesday (March 5th).We will gather for supper at 6:30 PM in the Fellowship Room.The Ash Wednesday worship service will follow at 7:30 PM.Questions can be directed to Su Iliff.

Resurrection Egg Workshop. Join us in the Social Hall on Saturday, March 8 at 2 PM for a workshop to create a Resurrection Egg Kit.Each family will prepare a kit that will prompt the telling of the story of Jesus' last days, from entering Jerusalem under the waving of palms through the empty tomb found Easter morning.To register for the event, add your name, email and phone number to the sign up sheet outside of the church office or email Marcee Rogers at A free will offering to cover the cost of supplies will be collected.

VBS Planning Meeting scheduled. Want to have fun planning summer excitement for the FUMC community? Join Marcee as part of the VBS Planning Team on Saturday, March 15.We will meet at 9AM - 11:30PM in the Fellowship Room for a light breakfast and planning.Older Youth and adults of all ages are invited to participate in this vibrant ministry experience.Childcare for volunteers will be made available during the meeting if needed.The focus of the VBS program is on our call to mission as Christians. Family Caregivers Group. A support group for persons who provide ongoing care for an ill, elderly or disabled family member continues to meet at FUMC about twice each month from 3:00 to 4:30 on Sunday afternoons. coming dates can be found in the weekly bulletin. support, encouragement, and caring as well as practical information areto and by those present.. group is professionally led. Be treated like a princess! Please join the Women of Cornerstone for a night of Pampering, Princesses and Prayer on March 29, 2014 at 7:30 PM in the Fellowship Room. Spend time with friends. Enjoy some tasty food. Have some time for quiet prayer. Sample spa products. Do your nails. Watch a Princess movie. All women are welcome.

Help support our Lenten youth mission project! – The Jr. and Sr. High youth will be selling tile mosaic crosses during lent for $10- each. The proceeds will benefit the Westfield Food Pantry and the Plainfield Free Meals program. They will be approximately 3 X 6 inches standing on a small base.
