The Lenten Journey Challenge. It is still not too late to participate in your own spiritual journey during Lent. See the Passport Agent in the Narthex to pick up your FUMC Lenten Passport for your trip which outlines the stops along the way to reach the final destination, Easter Sunday.

Help support our Lenten youth mission project! – The Jr. and Sr. High youth will be selling tile mosaic crosses during lent for $10- each. The proceeds will benefit the Westfield Food Pantry and the Plainfield Free Meals program. They will be approximately 3 X 6 inches standing on a small base. They will be available for sale Sundays after church during Lent. Please contact Peter Pantalena for further questions or details at: ppantal@aol.com

Lenten Study Groups. This Lent several Lenten Study Groups have been formed based on the study of The Many Faces of Jesus. These intergenerational groups take the place of Family Wednesday Night Meals held in the past during Lent. You can still participate! Contact the church office 909-233-4211.

The Noontimers will meet on Friday, March 21st in the Fellowship Room. Our guest speakers will be Charlotte and Michael Brown presenting the program "Being Crafty." We ask that you bring a sandwich and we provide coffee and tea and ice water. The meetings run from 12 PM till 2 PM. Everyone is welcome to attend! March hosts are Gloria and Gary Brodersen.

The Book Group will next meet on March 23, 2014 from 7-8:30 PM in the Fellowship Room. The book for discussion is "Bel Canto" by Ann Patchett. Teresa Dresely will be the discussion facilitator. All are invited to join us.

Be treated like a princess! Please join the Women of Cornerstone for a night of Pampering, Princesses and Prayer on March 29, 2014 at 7:30 PM in the Fellowship Room. Spend time with friends. Enjoy some tasty food. Have some time for quiet prayer. Sample spa products. Do your nails. Watch a Princess movie. All women are welcome.

Oratorio Singers Concert, March 30 at 3 PM. Join the Oratorio Singers as they present a concert of sacred choral music on Sunday, March 30 at 3:00 PM in our sanctuary. This concert, which includes soloists, chorus and orchestra, will feature Mozart’s "Great" mass in c minor and the World Premiere of Saint Augustine written by music director, Trent Johnson. Treasure Hunt. On Saturday, May 10 from 3 – 7pm we will be having our 20th FUMC Treasure Hunt! Unlike previous years, which were adult-only, the Hunt this year will be conducted in two groups simultaneously – one for family teams that include children, and one with all-adult teams. A pot-luck dinner will conclude the event. So, mark your calendars now and be on the lookout for sign-up sheets and additional details which will be posted in April.
