Season of Growth

Each week during Pentecost there will be Season of Growth word announced during worship on Sunday. These words are a way to consider where God is calling you to grow. Unlike our physical growth which ends early in our lives, our spiritual growth is ongoing. But while we do not cause our own growth when we are children, there are things we can do to create an environment for our spiritual development. Each of the words is an ingredient for growth; a way that we can prepare the ground of our lives for God to work in and through us. The words we have considered so far this Pentecost are: repentance, forgiveness, and trust.

As part of our Season of Growth initiative, a SUMMER IS ON! calendar was distributed at the Strawberry Festival. you did not get your bright green copy, look for one after worship today. information will soon be posted to the FUMC website as well. Please check it out and join in!
