SUPERBOWL SUB SALE - Mission Trip Fundraiser. The youth group will again be having a Superbowl Sub Sale as a fundraiser for their summer mission trip. Subs are pre ordered TODAY, January 27th and picked up on Superbowl Sunday, February 3rd. We will have Turkey, Roast Beef and Italian subs available for $10 each. Sign up sheets are available in the Fellowship Room and the Church Office. Payment on pickup after church on the 3rd.

NEW ALTAR FLOWER CHART IS UP! The 2013 Flower Chart is posted on the wall outside the church office. You are invited to sponsor flower arrangements for our worship services each Sunday morning. Floral arrangements cost $40 each week to sponsor. Please sign up, then take an envelope for your payment and to indicate what reading you’d like to appear in the bulletin. Thank you for providing these beautiful tributes for our Sunday services.

PHOTOS NEEDED for church website. For several months, a committee has been working to redesign and update our website. Please take a look at: We would like to include more photos, and we need your help. If you have photos from church activities during the past two years that you think would be great for the website, we need them! THE FAMILY CAREGIVER'S GROUP continues to meet twice monthly at FUMC on Sunday afternoons from 3:00 to 4:30. We gather with a cup of tea to share experiences, exchange information and to care for and encourage each other. Meeting dates in February are the 3rd and the 17th and in March the 3rd and the 24th. If you have been considering attending a meeting to experience the kind of support it offers, know that you are most welcome. The group is small and stable and will be interested in hearing about your experience of caregiving. Facilitators are Sue Bottorff and Su Iliff.

IT'S TIME for our Fellowship Room to get a facelift. If you love to decorate, get excited when you hear the word Pantone, and most of all, would like to make the Fellowship Room a more welcoming place, please give your name to Stina Nanavati ASAP!( We will have lunch and brainstorm ideas in early January.

THE CORE COMMITTEE for Vacation Bible School is looking for volunteers who want to help develop a new and exciting mission based vacation bible school experience for our congregation. If you have ideas to suggest and want to help in developing the program that we will pilot this summer, then please contact Marcee Rogers, Children's Program coordinator ( Our first meeting will be in January. MONTHLY MEN'S BREAKFAST. All men are invited to gather at the Westfield Diner at 8 AM on the first Saturday of every month for a time of fellowship. (Our next Saturday is February 2!) Contact Kevin Dresely at for more information. No reservations required!

CALLING ALL SCRAPBOOKERS!! Our next crop will be held on Saturday, February 9 from 9am - 1pm in the Fellowship Room. We meet monthly on the second Saturday. Each month, Sarah Ashworth will present a topic and be available to help those new to scrapbooking. February's topic is: "Quick Page Layouts". Stay tuned to learn more about this year’s Lenten study, scheduled to begin on Sunday, February 17th! The Lenten study will be offered on Sunday mornings at 9:00 – 9:50 AM. If there is sufficient interest, the study will be offered at an additional time during the week.

Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University began on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 and will continue for nine consecutive Tuesdays ending on March 5, 2013. Sessions begin at 7 PM in the Fellowship Room. Contact Brent Beene with questions.
