Quilts needed for display! The UMW is planning to have a quilt show this fall! We need handmade quilts to display for the event. (We’d like to show about 100 quilts!) If you have a quilt and would like to have it shown, please call Charlotte Broadwell at 908-232-5150 or email her at roger301@yahoo.com.

Sign up to help with Fellowship Time! Sign-up in the Fellowship Room to help with Sunday coffee hour. You can help by (1) setting up (2) cleaning up or (3) bringing food. Thank you for your help!

Rally Day Carnival. Volunteers are needed to create and staff stations for our Rally Day Fun Fair on September 7th following worship. your creative juices flowing and create your own station or talk with Marcee to be assigned one. are looking to create a fun carnival where folks will purchase tickets that they will use at the stations to play games, do crafts, and buy trinkets and snacks. proceeds from the ticket sale will go to support the FUMC scholarship fund and our conference apportionments. more information or to sign up contact Marcee Rogers at mmrogers93@gmail.com.

Fifth Sunday Worship. What are you doing between now and Labor Day Weekend? Calling all children & youth who would like toworship on August 31st at 10AM for our next 5th Sunday Worship Service. Installation of Raritan Valley District Superintendent. Laity and clergy are invited to join Bishop John Schol and the Cabinet of the GNJAC for the Installation of Rev. Dr. Drew A. Dyson as Raritan Valley District Superintendent on Sunday September 14th at 4 PM at the Bridgewater UMC, 651 Country Club Road, Bridgewater. A time of fellowship with refreshments to follow the service.

An Opportunity for the Women of the Church. Would you like to help the girls in the congregation grow their faith? Family Caregivers Group. The Family Caregivers Group continues to meet twice each month on Sunday afternoons at FUMC from 3:00 to 4:30. If you are providing ongoing care for a family member or spouse, please consider joining this supportive group. Coming meeting dates are31, September 14 and 28. The group is facilitated by Sue Bottorff, LCSW908-233-0337.

Craft/Social Group, Wednesdays in August. Please join us in the Fellowship Room on Wednesdays in August from 1-3 PM. Bring your knitting, sewing and crafts or just join us for social time! We also have some fun projects that you can work on. Hope to see you whenever you can make it!

Enjoy Summer Jazz from FUMC’s front lawn! Relax and enjoy the music of the Sweet Sounds Downtown Jazz Festival each Tuesday in August from 7-9 PM. Bring lawn chairs or a blanket and your picnic dinner. Playing August 19th is the The Murphtet (gregmurphyjazz.com)

Calling all youth in grades 3 to 8! Join us on Tuesday evenings in August for Summer Service Experience. will gather in the social hall for activities at 5pm. the activity time we will eat and socialize before wrapping up at 7pm. a friend and have fun!
